Intensive Japanese Series

The Intensive Japanese Series aims to provide a comprehensive and easy-to-understand reference in preparation for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test / JLPT N5 and N4 levels.

Intensive Japanese 1

This textbook covers the first half of JLPT N5 course content including Copula, Existential, Numbers, Time Expression, Frequency, Adjectives, Set Markers, Verb Groupings and Verb Conjugations. Some N5 Kanji will be gradually used in the book.

Intensive Japanese 2

This textbook covers the second half of JLPT N5 course content including Connective Verbs, Special Conjugations, Basic Verb Forms (Potential and Volitional), Set Markers and Transitivity. All N5 Kanji will be used in the book.

Intensive Japanese 3

This textbook covers the first half of JLPT N4 course content including Special Conjugation, Compounding, Set Markers, Nominalization, Verb of Change, Invitation, Hearsays and Comparison. All N5 Kanji and some N4 Kanji will be used in the book.

Intensive Japanese 4

This textbook covers the second half of JLPT N4 course content including Verb Forms (Potential, Volitional, Imperative, Conditional, Prohibitive, Causative, Passive and Passive-Causative), Honorifics and Giving and Receiving. All N5 and N4 Kanji will be used in this book.
