JLRC Launches New Online English Service “JLRC SpeakEZ” for Japanese Learners, Now Hiring Filipino Tutors with Nihongo Proficiency

JLRC Inc. (Japanese Language Research Center) is pleased to announce the official launch of its new online English conversation platform, JLRC SpeakEZ, designed specifically to cater to Japanese students’ learning needs. 

Since its establishment in 2001, JLRC has been providing Japanese language education, JLPT preparation, and study-abroad support to thousands of learners both to Filipino and global students. With the launch of SpeakEZ, JLRC now extends its mission by offering a service tailored for English learners in Japan who feel more comfortable with Japanese language support. The platform offers a unique learning experience where English is taught by tutors with Nihongo proficiency—a truly rare and valuable combination in the current e-learning landscape.

Our Mission

1. Delivering High-Quality English Lessons to Japanese Learners
SpeakEZ aims to help learners who struggle to speak confidently by providing a comfortable and supportive environment with tutors who can offer guidance and support in Nihongo when necessary. The service focuses on building communicative English through a culturally sensitive and learner-friendly approach.

2. Creating New Career Opportunities for Filipino ESL Tutors
In addition to supporting learners, SpeakEZ also seeks to empower Filipino ESL tutors by offering international teaching opportunities that recognize their Japanese language skills. This platform is ideal for Filipino tutors who have passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) and wish to use both their English fluency and Japanese communication skills to support Japanese students in their journey to learning a new language.

Now Hiring: Online ESL Tutors (Based in or outside the Philippines)

• JLRC SpeakEZ is currently accepting applications from Filipino ESL tutors who possess Nihongo proficiency. (From N5 to N1 level)
• 25-minute lessons are conducted one-on-one. All materials and training are provided, making it suitable even for those with limited prior teaching experience.
• Tutors will also benefit from JLRC’s structured training system, ensuring a professional and consistent lesson flow.
